When a 9 years old New Jersey kid went fishing in Canadian water, he surprisingly hooked a white sturgeon, weighing 600 pounds.
During the guided fishing trip on the British Columbia River Fraser, it took two hours for Kegan Rothman, his dad Dan Rothman, and their guide Ben Trainer to reel in the fish together.
According to CBC’s news report, the 600 pound fish was nearly 8 feet long. The guide Trainer estimated it to be about 75 years old.
However, abiding the law, they released the great sturgeon after clicking some pictures of it.
